Would you like to read your work in front of the Orcas Island Lit Fest audience? The Kids’ Fest planning committee would love to hear from you!
The Lit Fest invites local students to submit an original poem or other short work you’ve written. Each panel on our main festival stage will open with a brief student reading.
All material should be appropriate for a general audience—and no more than three minutes long when read aloud. Mentors from the Lit Fest may offer editing suggestions. Click below to send us the piece you’d like to share as part of this exciting event.
